I'm feeling dangerous. And risky. And adventurous.

I got my license yesterday. I drove Geneva and I to the mall and back, and we didn't even die!

And my mom said that I should get home at a reasonable time tonight; she didn't even give me a specific time to be home! She's treating me like I'm growing up.

I want to do something fun, crazy and possibly illegal. Okay, not illegal, because I don't want to get into too much trouble, but you get what I mean.

School starts tomorrow? I am unprepared. I haven't read all the books, seen all the movies or climbed all the trees I wanted to this summer.

And now instead of soaking up the (cold) sunshine, I have to go mow the lawn. Thanks for understanding, Dad.

I hate summer right now. First, because it's raining all the time which means no beach, no uptown, not even tanning. Second, because of the first reason, again.

And I want to go to the mall, but since I am not a licensed driver, no dice.

And Holy Joe! I am reobsessed with Final Fantasy X because of this lack of sun. What? Really, Carolyn? I mean, you're a 16 year old girl, not an adolescent boy!
